Pelatihan Pemasaran Digital Digital Marketing Training

As part of efforts to strengthen the economic capacity of women in rural areas, Lembaga Gemawan organized a Digital Marketing Training program supported by Dana Nusantara (Danus) at Seponti Jaya Village Hall on October 31, 2025. The program included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), training sessions, and practical exercises on digital product development.

The three-day training was attended by representatives of village governments across Seponti Subdistrict, Agricultural Extension Officers (PPL), Gemawan facilitators, as well as members and leaders of the Kayong Utara Women’s Union (SETARA).

During the MoU signing session, an agreement was established between CV Purple and SETARA regarding the purchase of coffee beans and other local products or commodities. Under this partnership, the coffee beans collected by SETARA will be marketed exclusively through Gemawan as the main sales partner.

The next stage was a capacity-building workshop facilitated directly by Gemawan activists Maulisa and Dea. In this session, the women of SETARA were introduced to the digital world as a means to expand their market reach. They also practiced various digital platform management techniques that can be applied directly in their business activities.

Through this training, SETARA women are entering a new chapter in developing their businesses. They began opening online stores on Shopee, creating Instagram and Facebook accounts for promotional purposes, learning about Google My Business to introduce their ventures to a broader audience, developing product catalogs and websites, and even experimenting with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist in promotional copywriting.

One participant, Riana, expressed her excitement about joining the training:

“I’m very happy because I finally learned how to create an online store to market my own products. Until now, I only sold them directly around my neighborhood,” she said.

Most participants of the training were housewives, farmers, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs. It is expected that through this initiative, women’s groups will become more digitally literate and enhance their businesses using digital media.

As one of the facilitators from Gemawan’s Creative Economy Division (Ekraf), Maulisa shared her hopes that the participants would continue applying their new knowledge in daily life.

“We hope that the women of Seponti will put this knowledge into practice in their everyday activities. That way, the products they create can become better known—not only in their local area but also beyond,” she concluded.
